Open Spaces

Have an idea to discuss with like minded folk? ... no problem. Sign up for Open Spaces.

These are self-organizing meetup-like events which occur in parallel to the main PyBay conference PyBay conference at UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center on August 12-13. These one-hour meetups are planned ahead and also created on-site by PyBay attendees! Open Spaces allow attendees to self-gather, self-define, and self-organize and have thought provoking discussions and ideas.

How To sign up?

There are two ways to do this:

  1. Before the conference starts, use this form to submit your ideas and desired open space time
  2. At the main conference on Saturday and Sunday, sign up at the Open Spaces board in between the HouseCanary Room and the open spaces rooms (pick up a marker pen and add your topic)

  1. Easy! Tweet your session topic, time and room to @Py_Bay and #PyBay2017
  2. Let your mailing list know your session topic and time ahead of PyBay’s opening
